About Us

Like many women, I had no real idea about perimenopause symptoms and the hormonal changes happening in the years leading up to menopause - that one magical day when your periods stop.
In my early forties, I had a hysterectomy. Although I kept my ovaries, I later learned that the surgery could still impact their function, and that menopause might come earlier for me as a result.
But even knowing that, I wasn’t prepared for the reality of perimenopause, and how much it would affect my body, mind, and sense of self. The mood swings. The anxiety. The brain fog. The joint pain. The exhaustion. The moments where I honestly didn’t know me anymore.
At first, I put it down to stress, or getting older, or parenting burn-out or just “life.” But the truth was, I had been in perimenopause for years, and I didn’t even know it.
Now, anyone who knows me knows I have a genuine thirst for knowledge. A “leave no stone unturned” kind of thirst - especially when it comes to women's health.
So how had this particular topic evaded me?
Because nobody talked about perimenopause support or how to navigate it.
